MB01 REVISION 0.1 · 29 SEP 2026

One base. Many characters.

Packaging prototype

A compact two-wheel platform with a rear ball caster and a removable body interface. The screen, arm servos and voice hardware live in the upper character.

Current decision: the motor geometry fits, but supply is unresolved. Hardware blocks are dimensioned placeholders; this revision is for review, not a released print-and-build kit.

Decisions & next steps

Established in this model

  • 98 × 49 mm footprint, including both wheels.
  • Rear caster and two drive wheels meet the same floor plane.
  • 0.8 mm minimum modelled tire-to-shell clearance.
  • Four-point 32 × 44 mm body mount with asymmetric locating keys.
  • Display, arm servos, microphone and speaker remain in the upper body.
  • 33 valid solids; no unintended intersections. Tire interference is deliberate.

Still to resolve

  • Source the drive motors or select a replacement and revise the mounts.
  • Validate battery current, protection and simultaneous actuator loads.
  • Measure bought parts and finish clamps, PCB supports and servo brackets.
  • Design the body connector, wiring or a compact carrier PCB.
  • Test print fits, arm motion, centre of gravity and dynamic stability.
29 SEP 2026 · V0.1

Initial hardware packaging and common base. The rounded reference informed the appearance; the narrow width produces an elongated base. A generic upper carrier demonstrates component placement without fixing a character design.

The 57.5 mm shell roof and 61.3 mm key height are provisional. This first layout is taller than the visual reference; a carrier PCB may reduce height, but that is not yet established. No runtime, payload or durability rating is claimed.
